I was really angry when Usain Bolt got eliminated from the 100 metres race at Daegu yesterday. I had waited all morning for this race - and then Bolt beat himself to it.

I think the elimination rules were too harsh and robbed us, the fans, of the excitement of seeing one of the greatest runners of all time in action.

Think of it, even Dwain Chambers' elimination was ridiculous. He did not even leave the block. He just shook or twitched and that was enough to get an elimination! What happened to the old rules that allowed a second chance? What happened to the old rule where an elimmination happened only if you actually leave the block before the whistle?

I am angry. I cant understand the need or reason for this rule. I hope they dont use it during the olympics.

I mean, Bolt is the main attraction of the show and then the these officials denied us all of seeing him in action? Its cruel!
